About POACT


POACT is an organization dedicated to keeping its members informed on legislation being debated at the Capitol which directly affect police officers, their working conditions, their wages and benefits and public safety, and to promote the involvement and action of police officers in such debates.

Advocacy

POACT is at the forefront of helping to educate legislators as to how the various bills before them will impact the lives of police officers and public safety.

Membership is inclusive. Regardless of union affiliation and city or town size, every officer and police union is encouraged to join POACT.
