POACT is at the forefront of educating legislators. We guide legislators into understanding the impact of legislation on the lives of police officers and public safety. We provide testimony on important bills and at times, have members come to Hartford to present testimony in person.  Generally, legislators like to hear from their local police.

POACT supports enhancements to:

• Workers Compensation
• Police Accountability
• Pensions and Collective Bargaining
